| Bio: Mr. Mutua is a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Multimedia University of Kenya, where he has been teaching since February 2011. His areas of expertise span financial reporting, intermediate accounting, auditing and assurance, management accounting, financial statement analysis, operations research, and public finance and taxation.
Prior to joining MMU, Mr. Mutua served as an accounting lecturer at the Cooperative University of Kenya from 2008 to January 2011. He is a highly regarded trainer and consultant within the East African region, recognized for his academic contributions and consultancy work. Beyond academia, Mr. Mutua is a strong advocate for decent working conditions and labor rights. He is also a trained trade unionist, having completed the prestigious Future Young Leaders training program offered by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). Qualifications:
