Dr. Kochei holds a PhD in Public Administration from the London Bridge Business School (UK), Master of Environmental Economics and Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting Option) both from Strathmore University. He is an accomplished Accountant, Leadership & Governance expert and also a certified & accredited mediator from Strathmore Law School.

Dr. Kochei has served in various capacities such as a Board of Director at Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK), an internal auditor at World Vision Kenya and as the Speaker for Elgon Marakwet County Assembly.
