Course description

Diploma in electronic engineering is a course that introduces fundamental principles and concepts in electrical and electronics engineering technology which provide trainees with prerequisite skills, knowledge and competences to work as supervisors and technicians.

The diploma course Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a three year course designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge they will require in the industry as Electrical Engineers.

The minimum requirement for enrolling are a KCSE mean grade of C- (Minus) or an equivalent craft certificate. After successful completion of the course, the learners will be able to take up challenging roles in the Electric Engineering field both in employment and self-employment.

The course is in modular form and it is designed to enable trainees acquire adequate Competence for formal and informal employment and at the same time prepare them for further training.
