D.ACCREDITATION
Accreditation is the formal recognition granted by an accrediting body, affirming a university’s competence in specific endeavors. Its primary objective is to ensure that the education offered by universities meets acceptable standards of quality. Accreditation supports universities in developing and sustaining effective educational programs, providing assurance to the educational community, the general public, and other organizations that an accredited university has attained high levels of quality and effectiveness.
Multimedia University of Kenya is dually accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE) in Kenya since its establishment. This means that our systems and quality are inspected and guaranteed by both bodies. Added to this, MMU’s specific academic programmes are also approved by various professional bodies such the Engineering Board of Kenya (EBK).
