MMU students elect new leaders

Remmy Delile Ouma and Mang’ara Catherine Wanja have been elected as the new Multimedia University of Kenya Student Association (MUKSA) chairperson and deputy chairperson respectively for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

Remmy and Wanja, who were competing against Wesale Kelvian and Kimani Jedidah Wakari, garnered a total of 49 votes to clinch the chairperson seat against their close rivals who managed 39 votes.

Okeng’o Kepha Okari clinched the position of Secretary General, defeating Ahuga Dennis, Maxwel Omondi Nyakuna, and Otieno Oluoch Caleb, who were all competing for the same position.

Koroso Derick Getuma won the Finance Secretary seat after defeating Mburu Dennis Kinyanjui while Okeyo Victor Nina bagged the Academics, Clubs, and Societies docket.

Jael Bahati was elected unopposed as the new Health, Environment and Special Needs Secretary while Monari Asiago Austine was also elected unopposed as the new Sports and Entertainment Secretary.
